Yes, it does.

Does this card's effect prevent me from deleting an opponent's Digimon using a [When Attacking] effect?
No, it only prevents Digimon from being deleted as a result of battle. [When Attacking] effects, other card effects, and being reduced to 0 DP will still delete Digimon as normal.
