Does this card's inherited effect activate if 1 of my Digimon is played by a DigiXros?
No. DigiXros itself is not an effect, so the effect doesn't activate for a card played by a DigiXros as a main phase action. The effect will activate if a DigiXros is performed when a Digimon is played by an effect.
